This morning

I went to my appointment at workhouse no.2, and that went fine. They are obviously very put out that my man is helping me with the academic cv. Afterwards I met with the lady from social services, who took me to the gardening project. It was lovely, and I saw many of the plants that I most enjoy. Two of the people who run it are known to me. They used to come to my 'knees-up' routine at the other establishment. I'm going to go there once a week. Afterwards I walked back to the library in the most terrific hailstorm. The hail blew horizontally in the wind and really stung one's face.
