Peace and quiet

On Saturday night the stampeding went on until about half past nine. It was lovely and peaceful until the people downstairs had a get-together that started at ten and got progressively louder. I had to keep stopping my dvds, and it took me over five hours to watch two ninety-minute films. Ouch.
