Social media

There are things I like about it, but you don't half see some crap. Pictures of the likes of Elvis Presley and other miscellaneous 'pop stars'. The very thought of their music turns my blood to ice. Then there are the reminders of a late 'celebrity's funeral. Well I ain't going. I didn't know the person. Then there is all sorts of political stuff, most of which I don't agree with. Some of the stuff is downright barmy, but such postings usually have more than a grain of truth to them. This week I saw something truly shocking; one person threatening online to harm another person. I suspect it was a temper tantrum on the part of the writer, and quite childish too. But is that sort of material what people really want to see?
My post much less now than I used to. I don't write about religion anymore. I still detest religion just as much as I always have done, but can't be bothered to waste any more time thinking about it. Most of what I post nowadays is to promote the plight of autistic adults of my generation. We are largely forgotten by the rest of mankind. No, I correct myself. We haven't been forgotten. It's more the case that we hadn't been thought of in the first place.
