Yesterday evening

I had a call from the residents' association to say the woman upstairs had moved out. I did wonder why it was so quiet, and when the stampeding would start. I learned that the man upstairs had been arrested for breaking into her flat, beating the woman up and hitting the kid. I do hope she's ok. I knew that man would be trouble.
