The walk

The weather was lovely and calm this morning, and a good deal brighter than yesterday. I walked a couple of miles down the coast, enjoying the sea and the wildlife. Only one thing spoiled it. Bloody dogs. Barking, yapping, running all over the place, frightening the wildfowl. I don't know why the animals are allowed in a site of outstanding natural interest. I think I'd like to go earlier to avoid them, but if I go much earlier, it will be too dark to see anything.
