A very nice man

Meet Fernando VII (1784-1833), king of Spain and father of the luscious Isobel II (1830-1904). You can see where she gets her petite build and evil-looking eyebrows from. Fernando became king very briefly in 1808. His father Carlos IV was forced to abdicate, Fernando became king, and in his turn was forced to abdicate by Napoleon. Fernando was imprisoned in France. A new and liberal constitution was created in 1812, which Fernando promised to rule by when he became king again after the Peninsular Wars. Fernando was a liar though, and punished his opponents with sickening barbarity. His rule was a de facto dictatorship. Apart from all this he was a really nice bloke (I don't think).
