How to avoid a meltdown

After I experienced a meltdown last Friday I've been giving the matter a lot of thought. One of my aspie friends suggested I get a walkman and play it very loud, so as to block out the annoyance. That doesn't suit me, but I've come up with my own solution. When things are hard I go to the piano and play Beethoven (mild), Schubert (moderate) or Schumann (severe). Playing this sort of music requires intense concentration on my part. I played some Schumann early yesterday evening and it worked. Bingo.
