Early evening

My brother was on duty at the pub yesterday. He whose name is not to be mentioned was there. He talked at my brother from 5pm to 7.30pm without stopping. Then he found an elderly couple he'd never spoken at before and gave them the same treatment. They managed about twenty minutes' worth before getting up and leaving.
A friend of mine told me that the previous day he was with friends at another establishment. This person kept on interrupting their conversation and was asked to stop. Instead he followed the group over to our place and carried on doing the same, much to their annoyance. The person is obviously very lonely. But there you are. It is very intolerant and unreasonable of me to expect to be allowed to have any sort of conversation when he's around.
