When I got to the pub my brother was there, but as a customer this time. I spent some time playing Beethoven and Chopin and got myself settled in. I didn't play any songs though, as I thought I'd give myself the night off. During the course of the evening various of my friends came, and we made a sizeable group. There was lots of chatting and lots of laughter. The person whose name I won't mention didn't come in, which meant we could talk about the things we wanted to talk about. The landlord put out cheese, biscuits and pork pies for us, which he often does of a Sunday.
Now that my brother wasn't on duty, we had the chance to talk properly. We spoke about the hyperactivity of the aspie mind, and how you wake up with your brain in overdrive. That's why I tend to write most of my blogs in the morning. It's a way of freeing your mind, as well as recording a moment in time. We also spoke about all my musical activity of late, and it pleases me enormously to see him so happy about it. He is at least as talented as I am, and possesses a much better imagination. Unfortunately he is where I was not so very long ago, and I will always continue to encourage him and have faith in him. I want him to take my hand and walk forward with me.
I am going to do one of my events at the pub on Saturday week, where I come booted and suited. I'm looking forward to that. Also the pub landlord has said that I may put a sign up to advertise music tuition, and they will give my business cards to anyone who enquires.
The people at the historic building also want me to play. I didn't get to see them at the weekend, as I found myself too busy thinking. However I have decided that I will play, but only if they sort out transportation for the keyboard and myself.
I enjoyed yesterday.
