Choir practice

This is photo of the choir I sang in, taken in about 1972. I remember all the people and their voices, which ranged from 'passable' to 'grim'. I remember the terrible fashions and laugh at the thought of having worn them.
We had choir practice every Monday at 7.30pm. Those people really enjoyed singing. We had a really hilarious tenor soloist. I can still hear him now, warbling away and coming in at the wrong place. There was a soprano soloist whose vibrato was so out of control that her entire body shook. But it didn't matter one bit, because we had such fun just doing it.
Unfortunately I also remember how things were at home.
