We've just had an unexpected and beautifully warm period. It was like spring until Sunday, then it changed overnight. On Monday it was cold and windy, with the wind being strong enough to send huge waves crashing over the harbour wall. We have similar conditions today. I do find high seas exciting from a distance, but I must admit I feel terrified if I'm close up. For me, the sea is beautiful all year round, and so is the lovely little town where I live.
