The rest of my day

The weather is foul today, with dark, leaden skies and persistent heavy rain, accompanied by a cold wind. I got a good soaking on the way home from work. My legs, feet and neck are all aching, probably from all the walking and lifting I've been doing of late.
After I finish writing, I'll have some dinner and then take myself up the pub. I do hope my friends will be there, as I could do with a good cheering-up. I expect at least two or three games of scrabble.
Sleep was a bit bumpy again last night, so I do feel tired. I know that I can get up at whatever time I want tomorrow, but I bet I wake up early, as normal.
I really do not like my own company. I get on my own nerves. I didn't used to mind being on my own. I was quite used to it, as I have nearly always been on my own. I don't know why I mind it nowadays, but that's how I feel. I wonder if it's because I'm finally just starting to find out who I am?
