I had some fun at the pub yesterday, playing the piano for a visiting cheese club. They were evidently enjoying themselves and talked boisterously throughout, so I upped the volume a few notches and played in the background. I enjoyed myself, and the people said they had enjoyed the music. I was offered some cheese. I am a bit of a cheese slut, so I found it impossible to refuse. I had Cheddar, Brie, mature Gouda, Picos de Europa, and a hard goat's cheese. Delicious! I particularly enjoyed the Picos.
After the group left, three new people came in. Their conversation went to harpsichord music, so I played them some Rameau. They kindly treated me to a pint, and we sat gabbing away as if we'd always known each other.
I'm doing one of my singalongs at the pub tonight. I always look forward to these, as some of my closest people, and some good friends, always come. Tonight my brother is going to video it, so that I can post it on the Aspergers Musicians and Artists with Autism pages.
During the week I was mindful that my antidepressants were about to run out, so I requested a prescription at the doctors. I have realised this morning that I forgot to go and collect the prescription, so I'll have to wait until Monday. Usually I write anything important on my fag papers, so that I remember. A lesson for next time.
