Last night's full moon

In my last job I used to be up by 4.15am, and would go to bed by 10pm. Nowadays I enjoy the night. I'm sure it's because I have friends around me now, as well as a real social life.
I am surprised, even shocked, that I seem to be so popular. People are always coming up to me to say hello. It is embarrassing that my memory for names and faces is so poor. In the pub, people talk to me and obviously know me already, but I feel as if we're talking for the first time.
I forgot to mention that during the evening, I got chatting to two artists from the North whose work is on display at the local art gallery. One of them is also connected with the theatre, and he said he recognised me from Leeds. It is quite astonishing. I've only ever been there once in my life, and that was to see my nephew acting at the theatre.
