The pub was busy when I arrived, so I helped my brother with the glasses in between playing the keyboard. It was a friend's birthday so she came down with her family and friends, and we had a few songs. Some of my friends came too, so there was lots of chatting and laughter.
Just as everyone had left by closing time, a party of football fans arrived. They were celebrating their team's success, so they were very happy. They were singing football songs with very rude words, so I joined in on the keyboard. They loved it! I was everyone's pal for the night. While I was playing, they put one of their football scarves round my neck, and we're going to hang it on the wall at the pub. We must have been singing and playing for a good hour at least, until their kebab delivery arrived. I have never enjoyed frozen chips as much as I did last night.
