More Aspergers

It's strange that I now speak Spanish, French and German on a regular basis. I am able to resurrect and use languages that I haven't spoken for decades. I've also been playing pieces from memory that I haven't played for decades.
For me, the grammar of foreign languages and music are like a series of graduated coat-hangers, on which to hang the words or notes. I love the structures and the connections between things. I love the patterns, and comparing things in the minutest detail. Music and language focus my mind, and allow it to do what it finds most natural.
My mind is a bit like blotting paper, and retains a huge proportion of what it has learned. I find that I can easily access this information and use it.
