Something in me has changed. Whereas I've always enjoyed listening to music on my own, I now find that I don't anymore. I don't like crowds, so concerts are completely out of the question. I enjoy listening to music together with friends. When my friend came yesterday, I played a recording of myself playing La Morangis ou La Plissay by Forqueray. For the first time I heard things that were beautiful in my own playing. Then we listened to Sami Nee, sung by S Sowmya. It was lovely to hear them. The following recordings are of the piece I played, and a different song in Raga Panthuvarali sung by S Sowmya.
