Impatient

I received a letter from my doctor this morning. The following points were replied to:

1) I was referred to the ASD unit on 12th December. The waiting list is over a year, and I will hear from them once an appointment becomes available.

2) I have been referred for a 24 hour ECG, but that appointment can take quite a while. In the meantime I will go in for a regular ECG on 25th April.

3) The locum has made an appointment for me to see him this Friday.

It all seems very slow here compared to London, but at least I know what's happening now.
