Two caricatures

The top one is of a hookah-smoking grub, around which the tubes form the outline of a bubble. It avoids reality at any cost. as it perches upon a magic mushroom.
The bottom one is somebody who tells but doesn't listen. She barks out orders and is to be obeyed, or else.
Carroll and Tenniel are wonderful portrayers of human character.
