Separation?
Re the Act of Union (1707) and the fat Queen who presided over it. I can't help but find it ironic that the Union occurred under the last Stuart monarch. The Scots are to hold a referendum on Thursday to decide whether or not they will become independent from the United Kingdom. The story has been widely covered in the press. I'm sparing a thought for my dear friends in Glasgow when I say the following: I want to see the Scots have what they decide they want. I am not interested in how they manage afterwards, should they become independent.. That is not my concern, but they themselves must be allowed to decide.
