Reading

Last night I felt like reading, so I revisited Sex, Death and Punishment by Richard Davenport-Hines. It tells the story of sexuality in this country, from the early modern era. Most of the book is necessarily concerned with society's treatment of homosexuals, and the book is a veritable treasure trove of first-hand sources. The end-notes about the author always mage me giggle with the ending 'the author is married with two children'. Is this some sort of retraction?!
