Last night

My friend and I went to the pub after dinner. It was very busy and I was overwhelmed by the sound of all the simultaneous conversations. I felt awkward because of the close proximity of some people I strongly dislike, but stayed exactly where I was. I enjoy the place much more when they are not around.
