Haute cuisine?

Last Friday I was delighted with my salt beef, particularly since it was the first time I'd ever made it. It tasted so much nicer than any salt beef I'd bought from the supermarket. I revealed my inner Jew by serving it with lattkes, cabbage and gherkins. We had horseradish sauce too, as I couldn't find any chrain.
