I had a nice time at the pub yesterday. I felt quite miserable when I got there, but several friends came in and cheered me up. I played a few of the old songs, but was asked to play harpsichord music. That was a nice change. I played Purcell, d'Anglebert, Louis Couperin and Rameau. I enjoyed the cider, but that's nothing new because I always enjoy the cider. Two of my friends sent out for a curry, and the whole atmosphere was party-like.
One of the odd bunch came in quite distressed, because his friend had just been killed in a car crash. Awful. I spent some time talking to him.
I popped over to another bar to say hello to a friend who was deejaying there. I'm afraid the music is too loud for me, so I didn't stay. I'm glad I saw him though.
