I am either obsessively interested in something, or I have no interest at all. I am not a royalist by any stretch of the imagination, but I love programmes about prehistoric royalty, of whatever nationality. Tonight I will bring one old war-horse out of mothballs, namely a documentary about Queen Victoria and her children. I have watched it countless times, and know it word for word, but I enjoy it every time.
