Last night
I went to the pub an hour earlier than expected, so that I could enjoy a nice pint outside by the sea. The weather was oppressively hot and humid yesterday, and I was sweating buckets in the suit I was togged up in. It was mostly a different crowd from usual. Most people sat outside because of the heat, so I sat there and played. Three gentleman stayed in and sang. One of them gave me his business card. It turns out he is a radio broadcaster who specialises in the music I play. He said how much they had enjoyed themselves. I gave him one of my cards in return, and he wrote something on the back of it. A family group of three generations of males sat behind me and also joined in. It was a lovely night.
