Yesterday the death of a national celebrity was announced. Many people have expressed their personal sadness at this event. Of course I understand the grief must be terrible for his family and loved ones. I don't feel it, as I didn't know the man. I enjoyed his programmes when I was younger, but not as I grew older. The man was clever and funny but I didn't love him.
