A drama queen

A strange thing happened to me just as dinner was being served. I suddenly felt a burning sensation in my left eye, which suddenly became more intense. It was excruciating. I went to the sink to flush it out. My friend helped me, and apparently something white came out of it. The eye was bloodshot for a short time. The pain passed quickly, but the upper lid felt swollen all night. I'm a weirdo.
