Culture shock
In this time of changing sensibilities, I notice how much things and manners have changed in my lifetime. Of course there were no mobile phones when I was young. They hadn't been invented. Even if they had, they certainly wouldn't have been used in public facilities, such as restaurants or libraries. People wouldn't have allowed it. I can't help feeling that people have become much too available nowadays, and society expects that of them. Privacy is much more difficult to achieve now. One is under constant bombardment from ringtones, and from other people's irrelevant conversations.
