Last night

I started playing at 7pm. The first group were really up for it, and there was plenty of hearty, loud and good-natured singing. They told me afterwards how much they'd enjoyed it. The second group weren't so keen, but some of them sang. I took a half-hour break between the first group and the second, and finished playing around 11pm. I played some more songs and a couple of carols at 11.30, at a customer's request. I'm not sure how the evening went.
