I had a quiet evening in. I watched the beginning of
The Great McGonagall (1974) with Spike Milligan and Peter Sellers. Not one of their best. I followed this with
The Happiest Days of your Life (1950) with Alistair Sim and Margaret Rutherford. Then I watched
Nell Gwynn (1934) with Anna Neagle, Muriel George and Miles Malleson. I had two pints of cider and noticed no effect.
