I enjoyed my dinner for a change, and stupidly overate . After dinner I watched
Time is my enemy (1954), a gloomy melodrama of blackmail and murder, starring Dennis Price, Susan Shaw and Bonar Colleano. Then I watched
London belongs to me (1948) with an impressive cast; Alastair Sim, Fay Compton, Richard Attenborough, Susan Shaw, Joyce Carey etc. It's the story about the residents of a house in late 1930s London, their lives and personalities, ending in a murder trial and campaign to have the killer reprieved. I had a lovely evening.
