Nowadays

I know one thing that's really getting on my nerves. My friend took me to the doctor in February, to describe what had happened during my seizure. Instead of sending me to see a neurologist, he had me fitted to a heart monitor. Unsurprisingly the results were negative. I had to insist that he refer me to a neurologist, which he did at the end of April. Having asked my GP why I hadn't heard anything two months later, my GP asked me in effect to sort it out. Having discovered that the hospital had no record of my referral, I had to ask my GP t re-send it. Having been to the hospital yet again to find out what is going on, the lady I saw was very helpful. Unfortunately the waiting list is about ten weeks. From my first doctor's visit, it will have taken seven months or so to get seen. In the meanwhile I continue to apply for jobs, worrying about having fits in a new job.
