I'm going to cook some vegetable bondas for my friends' party tomorrow. No, these aren't mine. I googled them, but they look quite the same as the ones I make. I also want to take some patra:
I don't make these, as you can buy perfectly good ones in a tin. All you do is slice it and fry it. Simple.

The walk
I have become a prolific photographer, probably to the point of obsession. It's an autistic trait, so I suppose it couldn't really be any other way. I am endlessly fascinated by the position of the tide, the the variety of daylight and colours, the weather, the wildlife and the ships that pass by. The place never looks the same twice. Something is always different.
My life with A S D
I'm in the middle of the merry-go-round, with all my millions of thoughts going around me. I want to stick my hand out and stop it, so that I can think about things properly before the thought passes on to the next. Very tiring.
Last night
I watched some more Laurel and Hardy film, followed by Too Many Crooks (1959), an enjoyable comedy starring George Cole, Terry-Thomas, Bernard Bresslaw and Sid James. I had the lovely bottle of wine my friends gave me for Christmas while watching acts 3-5 of Rameau's Castor et Pollux.

Tonight
I'm definitely having a quiet one at home, probably with more Laurel and Hardy films. I'm ready for a rest.
Just now
The weather has turned; it's windy, chilly, and the clouds threaten heavy rain. Despite this we had a really lovely walk, and went quite a bit further than normal. We stopped at the cafe where my friend's brother works and treated ourselves to a plate of chips, before coming home again. I always enjoy our walks.
