A thought

It would be silly for me to dress up for halloween. I'm frightening enough as it is.

Yesterday

There was some Halloween thing going on outside my window, which involved drums and screaming and such like. It didn't bother me at all. It's funny, but in a way I felt somehow reassured by it. It didn't keep me awake either.

The weather

Yesterday was beautiful, sunny and warm for the time of year. Today it's cloudier, but looks like it'll brighten up. We're so lucky here, for the weather.

Sleep

Last night I went to bed at 8.30pm and slept for nearly twelve hours. I had some strange dreams. One concerned missing buses and trains (again). In another I was with a someone (I can't remember who) in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas looking down to a valley. In another dream I phoned someone, heard them answer then said nothing until I put the phone down. I felt very tired when I got up.

Thursday

I went home and spent most of Thursday afternoon and Friday reading. In between I did a bit of housework, so the flat looks nice now.

Another import

I don't like this activity one bit. Can't the kids wait a couple of days for 'penny for the guy'?

Halloween

I agree. Too much is made of this festival, when it never was a big deal in this country.
