A musical interlude

At the weekend I took part in a local busking event. I was asked to play outside an art gallery, a tourist destination and a beer festival. I got very favourable feedback from those businesses. I will be seeing a local restaurant proprietor, with a view to playing at his establishment. I'm getting nearer and nearer to making a living from music. Very encouraging.

A nice week

I've just had a really nice week with my German friend, who came to visit. I finally got to see some very beautiful coastline, which I'd never have done on my own. I ate rather more than I usually do, and more frequently, which I'm sure can only be good. I enjoyed all the chatting and laughter, which contrasted with the usual quiet state of my flat. The week has flown by much too quickly.

Boring

My neurologists appointment has been moved forward from 29th September to 19th September. It's ironic that I haven't had a fit since 17th June, where I'd been experiencing them monthly since December.

Now

I'm not feeling my best this morning. I've had an annoying, tickly cough for some months. I ignored it as usual, and think it's now turning to bronchitis. Time to see the doctor.

Par for the course

I used to deal with complaints equally as ludicrous when I managed Customer Services.

So now we know why.
